Jason Fung is an award-winning architect and the founder of Jason Fung Architect Inc., a Toronto-based design firm. Since establishing his practice in 2016, Jason has been at the forefront of inclusive design practices. He and his team deliver architectural solutions across diverse sectors, including residential, commercial, institutional and urban design.
Committed to fostering diversity in architecture, Jason established the JFA Diversity Award to empower underrepresented students in architecture. He actively contributes to community initiatives, which include the Program Advisory Committee at George Brown College (GBC), as a mentor for the Discover Mentorship Program at TMU, along with serving as a committee member for various outreach initiatives.
A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), Jason earned both a Bachelor of Architectural Science graduating with honours, and a Master of Architecture, being awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal for leadership and professional merit. He has judged design competitions like the BILD RenoMark Awards, periodically serves as a guest critic at his alma mater, and volunteers his time mentoring the next generation of aspiring architects.
