CHARRISSA FAN
BDES BCom

Charrissa graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and joined the JFA team in 2021.

She is passionate about adaptive reuse and its application in architectural design. In particular, she has a passion for reimagining and repurposing existing buildings as a means to preserve their historical value for future generations.  As a positive side effect, this leads to a reduction in construction waste, minimizing architecture's environmental impact.  Charrissa firmly believes that built spaces should be designed with the climate and environment in mind, which is a guiding principle in all her work.

Outside of architecture, Charrissa enjoys travelling and misses having cappuccino in Rome, moules marinières in Paris, wagyu teppanyaki in Kobe, laksa in Kuala Lumpur, and many more!
